A Fluid Partnership

City of Lake Oswego and the City of Tigard, OR

The City of Lake Oswego, Oregon had a problem. Its water infrastructure was aging, cracking and becoming degraded. Next door, the City of Tigard was eager to find a water source of its own after buying water from Portland for decades. Together, the two cities formed a partnership to share water resources, thereby giving Lake Oswego the money to upgrade and Tigard a source of its own. ICMA TV travels to Oregon to find out how both cities benefit by working together.
